Poem in Skylight 47, Interview and Translations in Russian

Poem in Skylight 47, Interview and Translations in RussianThe Galway publication Skylight 47 is becoming one of Irelands best literature papers and I’m delighted to have a poem published in issue 5. This issue has an interview with Louis De Paor, reviews of Alan Jude Moore’s excellent and highly recommended book ‘Zinger‘ and Edward O’Dwyer’s book ‘The Rain on Cruise’s Street’.

Packed with tons of poetry, I’m delighted to be in fine company along side Anne Irwin, Kate Dempsey, James O’toole, Noel King, Lorna Shaughnessy, Maurice Devitt and Ruth Quinlan who has two poems, one stunning piece appearing on the back page which is worth the purchase alone. You can buy Skylight 47 in shops around Galway and Dublin and I highly recommend it.

Cúirt International Festival Of Literature 2015 is in full swing in Galway and even with my ripped buttocks 2 New Poems in Ropes 2015 Journalmuscle, I’m still managing to get around to a lot of amazing events such as Paul Durcan, a master class with Jane Hirshfield, Naomi Shihab Nye and Kay Ryan and so much more.

Also lauched yesterday was the annual literature journal brought out by the MA students of NUI college Galway called Ropes 2015. It is always a quality print journal full of excellent poetry, stories and art from local and international writers.

Poem in Boyne Berries 14 Autumn 2013 Edition

Poem in Boyne Berries 14 Autumn 2013 EditionAfter a very busy few weeks I have finally been able to sit down and indulge into my contributors copy of Boyne Berries 14, Autumn 2013 Edition and enjoy the excellent writing provided by the group.

I am delighted to have a poem in Boyne Berries as this journal has been around since 2006 and is popular and respected among the writers and public of Ireland. The journal is produced by The Boyne Writers Group based in Trim Co. Meath. What I love about this group of individuals is that they meet twice a month to read and critique each others work whether it is poetry, fiction, a novel or play, it doesn’t matter, all work is read, critically analyzed with helpful feedback provided and worked on.
